The Boko Haram Journalist/spokesman, Ahmad Salkida, through whom information is passed from the Islamist-Jihadist sect has revealed in a series of tweets the capture of Khalid Barnawi, one of Boko Haram’s top leaders and Nigeria’s most wanted man after Shekau.

The capture if confirmed to be true will be one of the greatest achievements so far in the fight against the insurgents.

According to the series of tweets (see photos below), the journalist claimed the second most wanted Boko Haram Kingpin was arrested by operatives of the Department of State Services, DSS, in Lokoja last night.

Recall that the United States Department had in 2014 placed a bounty on Khalid Barnawi, Mamman Nur along with the Boko Haram kingpin Shekau.
