Dubai bound Plane Makes Emergency Stop In Lagos Due to Passenger’s Cocaine Ingestion

An Emirates Plane making its way from Sao Paulo Brazil to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates had to make an emergency landing in Lagos.

This was caused due to the suspicion that a passenger on board had ingested Cocaine and was failing fast health wise.

It then turned out that four other passengers, all Nigerians, had also ingested Cocaine, this was after a screening by anti-narcotic officials.

The passenger who the plane was stopped for had to be taken to the hospital to be treated as his life was in danger.

Ahmadu Garbage, NDLEA commander at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos, explained the situation saying that the passenger complained of severe abdominal pain which prompted the emergency landing.

“A passenger complained of severe abdominal pains and later suffered three recurrent seizures thus necessitating an emergency landing in Lagos.

“Upon arrival, four other passengers tested positive for narcotic ingestion. They are Okeh Desmond, Ezeanya Nnaemeka, Christopher Nonso and Chibusi Promise. All the suspects are under observation” said Garba.

At the moment it is reported that the passenger who ingested the Cocaine is responding to treatment.
