Dubai Police Car Becomes Guinness World’s Fastest Police Car

The Dubai Police force has been presented with a certificate which recognises its cars as the fastest police vehicles in the world.

The certificate by Guinness World Records was presented to the Dubai Police force for possession of the world’s fastest police car in service, a Bugatti Veyron.

The Bugatti Veyron makes one of the strongest of its 14 fleet of supercars which includes a bespoke Aston Martin One-77 (one of the 77 ever built by the automobile company), a Bentley Continental GT, three hybrid Porsche Panameras and two BMW i8s.

The former world record holder, the Italian police force had earned the place with the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 which clocks a top speed of 230 mph (370 km/h).

The Dubai police force’s fast cars are hwever not used in high speed car chases but in patrolling around the Dubai Mall area and Jumeirah Beach Residence in search of tourists and attention.
