Actor and WWE Superstar, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has said he might run in the US Presidential race.
The 44-year-old superstar who noted that he “wouldn’t rule out” his chances made the statement wile commenting on the outcome of the recently concluded November 8 US presidential poll.
While speaking to Vanity Fair magazine, Dwayne Johnson when asked what his take on the 2020 US presidential election might be like said: “It would be a great opportunity to help people, so it’s possible. This past election shows that anything can happen.”
The Rock’s comment comes after he had earlier in June told Britain’s GQ magazine that he had been considering a career change into politics.
He said to Britain’s GQ magazine: “I can’t deny that the thought of being governor, the thought of being president, is alluring. And beyond that, it would be an opportunity to make a real impact on people’s lives on a global scale.”
