Earthquake Rocks Ghana After Demolition of Nigerian Embassy Buildings

Barely one week after several buildings were demolished within the Nigerian Mission compound in Ghana, the country has been rocked by a massive earthquake.

According to reports from local sources, parts of greater Accra and Central regions were affected by the massive earth tremors which was also felt in surrounding areas.

The earthquake which had a magnitude of 4.0 and a depth of 10.0 occured three times in 15 minutes from 10:40pm Wednesday night.

It was felt in towns like Osu, Ablekuma Manhean, Kaneshie, Achimota, Adents, Accra new town, Legion, Kasoa and a host of others.

Ghanaians also took to social media to share their earthquake experiences.
