The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 arraigned a native doctor in the name of Bala Tangalu before the Federal Capital Territory High Court on a 2-count charge of conspiracy and obtaining by false pretense.
The suspect arraigned before Justice A. B. Mohammed was accusd of defrauding one Dozie Ugonna to the tune of N2.5million.
Dozie Ugonna had submitted a petition against the accused and his cohorts alleging that the sum of N2.5 million which was obtained from him was for the purchase3e of materials to neutraliize some charms contained in a carton filled with greenback currencies.
The accused pleaded not guilty to the allegation and the presiding judge set bail for Mohammed at N2million with two sureties in like sum.
