Ekiti Governor Fayemi Makes First Appointments

Kayode Fayemi, the governor of Ekiti state, has made his first appointments as governor

Fayemi announced that Mr Abiodun Oyebanji is now the secretary of the State Government while Mr Biodun Omoleye is Chief of Staff to the Governor, and Mr Yinka Oyebode is the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor.

None of the above mentioned men is new in office, with Oyebanji once serving as Chief of Staff during the administration of Otunba Niyi Adebayo and had also been the Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning during Fayemi’s first term.

Omoleye was also a special adviser while Oyebode, a journalist, served as Chief Press Secretary to Fayemi during his first iteration as governor.
