Ekiti State University, on Thursday was almost thrown into mourning as 20 students of the University’s Political Science department were involved in a ghastly auto-crash.
The accident occurred along the lokoja-Abuja expressway, after one of the tyres of their bus burst, leaving the vehicle in a messy shape after the anterior of the bus was total smashed.
The students who luckily survived the accident with a few injuries were said to be on a return trip to their university from Abuja where they went on an academic trip for the 2016/2017 academic session.
The trip was led by a Senior lecturer of the department and the Departmental president as assistant.
