After Barcelona humiliated their bitter rivals Real Madrid on Saturday, reactions have continued to trial the unexpected result, with many calling for the sacking of Los Blancos manager, Rafa Benitez.
The latest call is coming from Barcelona legend Rivaldo, who said that Madrid great Zinedine Zidane should take over as manager of the team, the same way former Barca players Pep Guardiola and Luis Enrique took over at the Nou Camp and have become successful managers.
While congratulating his former club for the massive win over their rivals, Rivaldo said: “Real Madrid already have a new boss, Zinedine Zidane. I’m sure he’s ready, just as Guardiola and Luis Enrique were for Barcelona.”
