Elsie Okpocha, the wife of Comedian, Bright Okpocha popularly known on stage as Basketmouth, has let fly on those setting the music industry against singer, Davido.

If you recall, on April 1st Davido made history as the first African to be featured on FIFA’s soundtrack.

The singer expected his fellow celebrities to celebrate his big win but was amazed as they all shunned him.

In retaliation to their treatment, Davido has gone ahead to unfollow a host of said celebrities on social media.

The list includes, Wizkid, Tuface, Burnaboy, Pantoranking, Yemi Alade, and possibly more not yet noticed.

Further crying out, Davido agreed when a Twitter user also made the same observation.

The Twitter user with the handle, Sonjoe Kutuh spotted how no Nigerian artiste posted about Davido’s FIFA song.

He complained that if it was Wizkid, everyone would bow to him, saying the entire industry is against the singer.

Davido replied him, “ME vs THE INDUSTRY!!!!! I LOVE IT!!”.

Daniel Regha, a popular Twitter influencer and adviser, as usual, did not fail to offer his advise to the already disappointed singer. His soothing words where:

However, Elsie Okpocha (Basketmouth’s wife) in reacting to the developing events, has come out to blast the Twitter user who instigated that the music industry was against the singer.

She wrote, “Someone said the entire Music Industry is against Davido, people will just wake up and just tweet rubbish, God forbid! People didn’t post his World cup song and the conclusion is nobody loves him???? Do you know the problems people are facing in this God’s forsaken country??? When last did you buy diesel?? Did you hear people were robbed and killed recently? Did you hear about the people that drowned because they were running from Bandits?? Did you hear our lives are going to be made more miserable when Ikoyi to starts?? Do you know the amount of a paint bucket of crayfish now??? Please I beg you, don’t be unfortunate”.

A few hours later, following Elsie’s tweet, her husband Bright Okpocha (aka Basketmouth) surprisingly took to his IG story to celebrate Davido. He revealed Davido is super proud of himself and his achievement all these years.

According to him, Davido single handedly carried Nigeria to the World Cup and deserves to be celebrated.

Basketmouth also used the opportunity to inform his colleagues that they won’t die if they support Wizkid and Davido equally. “Nobody go die if we support everybody“.
