The minister of power, works and housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola was at the Eko Hotels and Suites to deliver a speech on the government’s agenda for power in Nigeria.
The Minister, while about giving his speech was met with an unimaginable embarrassment as the power at Eko Hotels suddenly went off.
Fashola who was visibly embarrassed waited patiently for power to be restored with a very disturbing expression on his face.
The expectations of the guests seemed to have withered as the purpose of the speech was not in collaboration with the power outage.
Nigerians have been going through the hard times without electricity and many people had much to say about what happened, they expressed themselves on Twitter.
