Eminem, Rihanna Reportedly Set To Collaborate On Upcoming Song

Some days ago, Burn It Down Group, the company who reportedly handles marketing for Shady Records, appeared to tease a collaboration  between Eminem and Rihanna on their Instagram Story.

The photo simply boasts an “E” in the signature font used for Shady’s name intertwined with the same “R” from RiRi’s Rated R album cover. The picture is accompanied by two sets of emoji staring eyes.

This, of course, would not be the first time Eminem and Rihanna have collaborated. They first linked on 2010’s “Love the Way You Lie” off Em’s Recovery album, a single which has since been certified diamond.

Three years later, they linked for the highly successful single, “Monster,” which won a Grammy Award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration. They also have the collab “Numb.”

The two went on The Monster Tour together in 2014, one of the highest-grossing tours of the year.

Outside of their collaborative relationship, Eminem and Rihanna were surrounded in a bit of controversy in 2019, after a song leaked that features Em lyrically siding with Chris Brown hitting the pop star during their infamous alternation in 2009.

“I’m not playing Rihanna where’d you get the V.D. at?,” Eminem raps.”Let me add my two cents/Of course I side with Chris Brown/I’d beat a bitch down, too.”

Shortly afterward, Eminem released a statement saying the verse was 10 years old and was scrapped and never supposed to see the light of day. It looks like there is no bad blood between the two artists because of it.

Meanwhile, Herald.ng earlier reported that popular vlogger, Toke Makinwa has reacted to those mocking her over the alleged sealing of her Banana Island home by the Asset Management Company of Nigeria (AMCON).

The sprawling mansion was rumoured to have been sealed off by AMCON after the alleged owner, reported to be Makinwa’s lover, failed to meet some obligations to his creditors.

Many Twitter users took to the social media platform to poke fun at the media girl.

A popular user, @DOlusegun wrote: “Which of your daddies bought house for Toke Makinwa on credit and now AMCON has repossessed the house?

“Apparently, one of your daddies unable to pay up his debts to AMCON which rose to a total of over N240 billion now listed the house he gave Toke as a gift as part of his company assets which AMCON has now repoed. Men are scum”.

Another user, @Awesome_Arthur hit back at those insulting Makinwa over the reports, suggesting it is “fake news”.

He stated that many of those mocking the vlogger on Twitter were the same persons privately messaging her to seek financial assistance.

He wrote, “Amazing to see how many people here are ready to believe in negativity to cover up for their own failures in life. @tokstarr take note of these names, they will be in your DM’s begging for assistance by week’s end. #Fakenews

Reacting, Makinwa said that the insults would not make her stop helping her traducers.

And we shall help them,” she wrote, adding five smiling emojis. “We move”.
