The Emmy Awards, also known as Emmys, is a variety of awards given for artistic and technical excellence in American television.

An Emmy is one of four major American awards for performing arts and entertainment, along with the Grammy (for music), the Oscar (Academy Award, for film), and the Tony (for stage or theatre).

This year’s Emmy Awards is scheduled to take place on September 12, 2022.
