EndSARS: Ndume identifies youths to negotiate with FG

The Chairman, Senate Committee on Army, Ali Ndume has identified the categories of EndSARS protesters that should negotiate with the Federal Government.

He said that prominent young celebrities that identified with the protests before it was hijacked by hoodlums should negotiate with FG for the implementation of their five-point demands.

Ndume (APC – Borno South) said that the EndSARS protesters’ insistence on not having a leader could hinder the implementation of their demands.

“Prominent celebrities who took part in the last #EndSARS peaceful protests before it was hijacked by hoodlums, should represent the youths and negotiate with the Federal Government as a way of resolving the ongoing imbroglio.

“The government needs a team to negotiate with on how to implement the five-point demands as well as other programmes announced for the youths by the President.

“There is no way the government would implement the lofty demands of the youths without the representatives of the beneficiaries,” the senator said.
