A journalist, David Hundeyin has given Bashir, one of the sons of Kaduna State Governor, Nasir el-Rufai, a good dressing down on social media.
He described the governor’s son as a “nobody” whose sole achievement in life is being the son of a governor.
Hundeyin added that the younger el-Rufai would not be missed should he pass on now as he has not left a mark on any area of human endeavour.
The journalist’s tirade came in response to Bashir’s boast about his bank account balance.

The governor’s son had engaged in an expletive-filled argument with Germany-based Nigerian author, Elnathan John, during which he made the boast.
But Hundeyin cautioned Bashir against ridiculing John, the author of critically-acclaimed Born on a Tuesday.
“Bashir, Elnathan is somebody with a solid set of achievements and a reputation that will outlive him. What can you say you are in comparison? You’re already in your 30s and yet the most remarkable and noteworthy thing about you is what came out of your daddy’s p*n*s. Shut up,” Hundeyin further wrote.
