Epstein’s Friend, Ghislaine Maxwell Arrested in the United States for Child Sexual Abuse

A longtime friend of Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell has been arrested in the United States on charges of conspiring to sexually assault children and perjury.

Epstein himself had been arrested on charges of child sex trafficking one year ago. The 66 yr old committed suicide in a Federal Prison last year.

Epstein was a friend of two US Presidents, Bill Clinton and Donald Trump as well as Prince Andrew of England.

Maxwell becomes the first person to be charged for being involved in sex trafficking of underage girls asides from Epstein himself.

According to the indictment, Maxwell, 58, helped Epstein procure underage girls in the 90’s which he sexually abused at his apartments in New York, Santa Fe, Palm Beach Florida, and New Mexico.

The indictment also alleged that underaged girls were sexually assaulted in Maxwell’s London home.

In some instances, Maxwell was present for and participated in the sexual abuse of minor victims,” the indictment read.

She is also accused of lying under oath about her conduct during a legal deposition in 2016.

Maxwell was arrested by the FBI in Bradford, New Hampshire on Thursday.
