According to the governor, Kebbi State is one of the few states in Nigeria without a Federal Government Secretariat.

Bagudu also called for the rehabilitation of Koko-Dabai and Kamba-Peka Roads to ease transportation difficulties in the areas.

While commending the Federal Government for the execution of various road projects in the state, the governor urged the minister to initiate new projects in the state.

The governor said the visit was to thank the minister for the progress of work on some federal roads in the state.

“The visit is also to explore how the state government can further hasten the progression of the crucial road projects, especially, the Koko-Yauri and Gadar Zaima-Zuru-Gamji Road,” he said.

Bagudu also sought for the reimbursement of fund expended on some federal road projects by the state government.

Responding, Fashola thanked the governor for the visit and pledged to expedite action on the requests.
