Ex-Footballer Marcus Bent Arrested For Possession Of Illegal Substance

Former Premier League striker, Marcus Bent has been arrested for possession of illegal substance at the Children’s theme park Chessington World of Adventures.

The 38-year-old former Crystal Palace player was arrested on Monday and held overnight in custody of the Police.

He was arraigned before the Wimbledon Magistrate’s court on Tuesday morning in connection with the possession of cocaine which according to law is a class A substance.

Bent during the proceeding pleaded guilty before the court and was fined £385, with £85 costs.

This isn’t the first time Bent has had a run in with the law as he was arrested for possession of illegal substance last September.
