Ex-Porn Star Sues Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg For $1billion

An ex-porn star has filed a $1 billion law suit against Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg on grounds that he allowed a rumour spread on the social media network which ruined her career.

The former porn star according to DailyMail filed the federal lawsuit in the southern district of Texas against the social media site and its CEO on grounds that a rumour which spread on the site that she was born a man was not stopped thereby allowing it ruin her career as an adult movie actress.

Paree La’Tiejira, aka Lady Paree accused the social media site and its CEO of libel and intentional infliction of emotional distress which she said resulted from the numerous death threats she received on the social media website.

The 41-year-old adult movie actress however has a past with such lawsuits as she had in 2009 sued one Leisure Time Entertainment and a man identified as Mark C Carriere in an Indiana court on grounds that they spread false rumour that she was born with both the male and female body parts.

However, the case in which the court found in 2009 that La’Tiejira was born a woman and had never undergone surgeries to alter her biological sex resulted in her award of $2.5 million in compensatory damages and $50,000 in punitive damages in 2010 by the court.
