A Twitter user, @Slyxra has narrated how her mother gave birth to four children with same birthday within 12 years.
She explained that the siblings were all born same day exactly three years apart.
She disclosed this on Friday while making a case for family planning.
@Slyxra wrote, “Let me tell you a little story. So me and all my siblings share the same birthday day, can you imagine? How is that possible with four siblings, same birthdays… Who I go ask?
“I come from a family of four, and we all have the same birthday with exactly three years interval!!!
“So I and my siblings began to investigate the trick behind it from our parents as we wanted to have kids that celebrate their birthdays on the same day too. Money cannot waste fah!
“My mum told us different tales by moonlight till she decided we were old enough to know the truth.
“She said the simple truth was…… wait for it… “Detailed Planning of our little family”.
“She said she has always wanted the best care for all her children; to include having adequate time to breast feed, best education and comforts.
“She told me she has a formula for the planned birthdates family planning and a lil something extra to know this you have to call her ooo. Lol. But the truth she is my role model because her decision happened to be the best thing she did for us.”
She explained that family planning reduces maternal mortality among other benefits.
“Let me tell you some of the little benefits of our planned family; #Familyplanning ensured that my mother is healthy enough and has regained her pre pregnancy state before carrying the next pregnancy. It helped prevent unnecessary and preventable maternal deaths.
“Family planning is also having the number of children that one can adequately cater for, both financially and emotionally like my mum and dad did,” @Slyxra wrote.
