Nigerian rapper and actor, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has revealed that plantain is so important to him that he considers it a deal-breaker in a romantic relationship.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) account on Saturday, Falz joked that not liking plantains could lead to a breakup.
“Not liking plantain is serious grounds for break up,” he posted.
In a series of follow-up posts, the “Bop Daddy” crooner also shared that his all-time favorite meal is boiled yam and fried eggs, adding that he could eat it every day.
“One meal I can eat every day for the rest of my life – boiled yam and fried eggs,” he wrote.
Falz didn’t stop there. Weighing in on another popular Nigerian dish, he humorously criticized semovita, commonly known as semo, saying it shouldn’t even be classified as food.
“I wouldn’t advise eating semo in the morning… or any time of the day in fact. It shouldn’t be food,” he wrote.
