Fani-Kayode Draws Sequence Of African Leaders To Be Chased Out Of Power

Controversial former Aviation minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has described how some African leaders, including President Muhammadu Buhari, will be chased out of power.

He said the leaders, many of whom have been in office for decades, will be disgraced like some others before them.

Describing the leaders as “dinosaurs”, Fani-Kayode said Buhari would be chased out like Robert Mugabe, who handed over mantle of leadership in Zimbabwe in 2017, after three decades in charge, and Jacob Zuma of South Africa, whose party has sacked from power.

Others to be evicted, according to the social critic, are Paul Biya of Cameroon and Yoweri Museveni of Uganda, who both assumed power in the ’80s.

Tweeting via his verified personal Twitter handle on Wednesday evening, he said: First Mugabe went. Now Zuma is going. Next Buhari will go. After that Biya and Museveni will go. All these dinosaurs from the distant past fell in love with power and have refused to step down with dignity. What is it about African leaders and power?
