Fani-Kayode Gives Shocking Details Of Ongoings In Osun Rerun

Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has lamented alleged beating of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) supporters and prevention of journalists and observers from observing the ongoing governorship rerun in Osun State.

Fani-Kayode, a PDP chieftain, made this known in a tweet via his verified Twitter handle.

He said, “Police and Army prevent PDP agents from watching polling booths. APC thugs threaten and beat PDP voters. Journalists and election observers prevented from monitoring process. APC openly bribing voters with 100,000 naira. Is this an election?”

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) also confirmed some anomalies in the polls.

Taking to its verified Twitter handle, the electoral body, said, “INEC is disturbed about reports that accredited media and observers are being arrested or prevented from operating in some polling units. This is being taken up with the security agencies.”

Also, popular musician and nephew of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), David Adeleke aka Davido, alleged intimidation of PDP supporters by All Progressives Congress (APC) thugs and security agents in some polling units.

He took to his verified Twitter handle to express his concerns.
