Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode is in Akwa Ibom State in continuation of his ongoing tour of the South-South.

He tweeted a photo of himself with the state governor, Udom Emmanuel, on Thursday evening.

Recall that Fani-Kayode has been in the news in recent times over a clash with a Daily Trust journalist, Eyo Charles, in Calabar, Cross Rivers State.

The ex-minister on Thursday, August 20 severely castigated the journalist for daring to ask a question he (Fani-Kayode) termed “rude”.

He called the journalist “stupid” and threatened to report him to his publisher, possibly for disciplinary action.

However, Daily Trust  stood by its reporter and Fani-Kayode later apologised for the use of the word “stupid”.

All those appear in the past now as the minister has continued with his tour.

Fani-Kayode tweeted, “My delegation & I arrived in Uyo,Akwa Ibom last night. Staying with my friend & brother, Gov. Emmanuel Udom at Government House. I am proud of him & what he has achieved here. I look forward to seeing all his projects & touring the state & to my next few days in Akwa Ibom.❤👌🙏”
