Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has said that the senator representing Kogi West, Sen. Dino Melaye, may emerge Governor of the state if he continues to praise God openly.

Fani-Kayode said this in a tweet on Saturday while reacting to a video of Melaye singing a Christian worship song on the floor of the Upper Chamber.

The Herald can report that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senator was singing the hymn titled, “To God be the glory, great things He hath done” composed by Fanny Crosby‎ in 1875.

In the video, Melaye can be seen in a blue agbada outfit while enthusiastically chanting the lyrics of the popular hymn.

  1. This is wonderful. Senator Dino Melaye the courageous Senator of our time praising God in the Senate Chamber with confidence. I love this. May God continue to make way for him to excel in his ambition of becoming the governor of his home state of Kogi in the next gubernatorial election later in November 2019.
