Father flogs his own baby to death in Akure

Nigerians on social media are currently enraged, following the news that a father allegedly beat his own daughter to death.

The incident is said to have occurred at the man’s residence in Akure, yesterday, 21ist of August 2019.

While the reason why her father flogged her is yet to be revealed, reports revealed that the deceased was not even up to 10-years-old yet.

Taking to Twitter to share the story, @YemieFASH revealed that a certain lady had rushed the baby to the hospital when they realized how badly she had been beaten. But upon confirming that the little girl had given up, she absconded with her corpse.

Although the father is yet to be identified, security forces are said to have begun investigations into the matter with the plan of arresting him through the woman that took the baby to the hospital.
