Fayose In Third Mainland Bridge Accident

The past Governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose, narrowly escaped death after he was involved in an accident on the third mainland bridge in Lagos state.

His vehicle was said to have collided with another vehicle causing significant damage, but thankfully, no life was lost.

Fayose’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, announced the accident, using his Twitter page to pass along the information.

“Immediate past Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Ayodele Fayose was involved in auto accident on 3rd Mainland Bridge in Lagos, a few minutes ago,” he tweeted on Wednesday

“He is in stable condition as I write while he is receiving medical attention.”

He also gave an update on the Governor’s condition a little later on, saying: “I am happy to inform members of the public that former Governor Ayodele Fayose is now fairly okay,” he tweeted.

“The former governor thanked God for limiting the impact of the accident, particularly on occupants of the vehicle.”

Olayinka also informed the public that the former Ekiti state governor who is also the South-west coordinator of the Atiku Presidential Campaign, still made his way to Ibadan to ensure that the PDP rally scheduled to hold on Thursday 6th December, still went ahead.
