Fayose Speaks On Atiku’s Chances

1 Min Read

Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has predicted victory for the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, in Saturday’s presidential election.

Fayose, who is the South West Coordinator of the Atiku/Obi campaign, made this known after casting his vote at his Afao Ekiti country home by 1.10 pm.

He said that although the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) could deploy vote buying and security agents to try and rig the polls he was confident that Atiku would still emerge victorious.

Fayose charged the ruling party against any attempt to rig the election, urging President Muhammadu Buhari to accept defeat if he suffers defeat at Atiku’s hands.

In the same vein, Fayose described the present analogue voting system as “outdated”, calling for electronic voting to solve the problems currently experienced in the present system.
