Fayose Turns Protester, Displays #BringBackOurDapchiGirls Poster

Controversial Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has called on the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to bring back the 110 girls abducted from Government Girls Technical College, Dapchi, Bursari LGA, Yobe State.

He made the call via a message on his verified personal Twitter handle on Tuesday evening.

Recall that Boko Haram insurgents had invaded the school on February 19, after which 110 girls were declared unaccounted for.

The abduction of the girls, which has sparked nationwide outrage, is similar to the April 2014 abduction of 276 girls from Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State.

Fayose posted a picture of himself demanding action from the APC-led Federal Government to rescue the girls.

The photo was captioned, “APC #BringBackOurDapchiGirls”, which is similar to the #BringBackOurGirls campaign launched after the Chibok incident to demand the return of the girls.
