Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso on Wednesday lived up to their giant-killers status by beating NPFL leaders Wikki Tourists of Bauchi 4-3 in a penalty kicks shootout.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that this was after a goalless draw in their quarter-final match in the 2016 Federation Cup men’s competition.
The match played at the Confluence Stadium in Lokoja was a very tough one, as both teams struggled to score from the beginning of the game to the end.
NAN reports that Crown FC had earlier ousted Rangers International FC of Enugu.
