Femi Fani-Kayode Sues Stella Dimoko Korkus Over Libelous Post

Nigeria’s former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode is suing popular Nigerian blogger, Stella Dimoko Korkus over a post she made about his alleged divorce.

Stella Dimoko Korkus had earlier published a post, alleging that their marriage was in trouble.

The blog post titled Femi Fani Kayode And Precious Chikwendu Part Ways Over Alleged Domestic Violence Read: “Former Minister of aviation Femi Fani Kayode and his wife Precious Chikwendu  have parted ways and insiders allege it is over extreme domestic Violence allegedly dealt to Precious by the former Minister.

The Insiders confirm that Precious moved out months ago but without her four sons as the former Minister has taken over the kids and put them under the care of a Nanny with strict instructions that Precious is not to come near the house they shared as a couple. In Fact she is forbidden to go near the house.

According to the insiders,as she moved out,the former Minister took back the car gift and all the goodies he ever bought for her whilst they were married and has left her broke,penniless and begging for money to survive as her accounts were seized as well both are presently not on talking terms except the stinkers and threats sent on whatsapp.

She also allegedly got beaten up many times when she was pregnant with her first son and the triplets.

She allegedly lived like a prisoner in the house and was not allowed to go out,if she must go out,she went without the boys as it was alleged she might run away with them. He allegedly used to call his boys to beat her to stupor whenever she allegedly misbehaved.

Insiders say every time they post on the social media,”just know that they just settled a quarrel or someone got whooped and they settled”

The insider adds that ”the situation between both of them is serious and he has told her she would never see her kids again.

Their situation is even worse as Precious is allegedly demanding for DNA on her triplet sons because All four kids were allegedly conceived via IVF but she is not sure where the former Minister brought the sperm he dropped for the hospital to use on her to conceive the triplets.”

The former Minister also allegedly called Doctors who take care of mad people and alleged Precious was a mad woman and they forcefully removed her pants and gave her injections and she was allegedly locked up for some months before she was released and she ran.

It is alleged Precious recently tried to commit suicide over trauma.

No be everything people hear e dey talk Oooh.I hope they sort out whatever differences they have for the sake of their four children. The former couple are free to deny or confirm this story and the Allegations…”

In response to the claim, FFK has sued her organization for defamation of character. In a letter signed by his lawyer, Mr. Adeola Adedipe, dated September 16, 2020, the former minister described the report as preposterous.

The letter titled: ‘Defamation of Chief Femi Fani-Kayode- Re: Femi Fani-Kayode and Precious Chikwendu Part Ways Over Alleged Domestic Violence’, stated that the allegations were spurious and maliciously engineered. FFK is demanding N2 billion in damages from the blogger.
The letter read in part: “Our client is aggrieved and has instructed us to draw your attention to these libelous breaches of his person and family. By this publication, our client has received denigrating phone calls and messages across the globe by virtue of which he now sufferers immeasurable loss of goodwill.

“However, he is inclined to draw a curtain over the wild and spurious claims if you retract the allegations on the same platform they were published and consequently apologise to him in two other national dailies.

“You are also advised to enter into negotiations with us for the sum of two billion naira only being a token amount for penitence. Please bear in mind that you have 14 days from receipt of this letter to comply with the highlighted mitigating measures, the failure of which will leave our client with no preferred alternative than to seek redress in court.”
