FG raises Alarm over ISIS new ‘kid friendly’ app

The Islamic state, one of the most dangerous terrorist organizations in the world have come out with a new, colourful app aimed at indoctrinating children into their beliefs.

In a statement by minister for information and culture, Lai Mohammed, the federal government has raised alarm about the app, stating that parents should watch out for what their children download online.

The statement further explained that the app was supposed to make the idea of jihad attractive to little children thereby affecting the youngsters from an early age.
The statement signed by Mr. Segun Adeyemi, Special Assistant to the minister, explain that the mobile application, tagged “Huroof” (Arabic alphabets or letters), would introduce children to the Arabic alphabets using guns, military tanks and canons as learning aids.

”The application utilizes colourful illustrations that attract and engage the attention of young children,” the minister said, urging members of the public and parents in particular to be vigilant and prevent their children and wards from being indoctrinated.” The statement said.
