ccording to the final decision of the FIFA disciplinary committee after a series of letters to Akwa United management dated June 9, 2015, revealed that the club are guilty of failing to comply with the decision passed by the Single Judge of the players’ status committee on 23 September 2014 and are, therefore, in violation of art. 64 of the FIFA disciplinary code.

“The club Akwa United are granted a final period of grace of 30 days as from notification of the present decision in which to settle its debt to the creditor, the players’ agent, Dr Ojore Oka,” read the ruling in part.
