Fire engulfs residence of acting Permanent Secretary, Mr. Seker Akaa, in the Benue State Ministry of Science and Technology, burns pregnant wife along side two kids to death.
The family of Four was burnt to crisp in the early hours of Monday their residence at the Quararafa Quarters area of Makurdi, Benue State. Akaa was said to have been burnt to death along with his pregnant wife and two children by the time the fire service was able to finally put out the fire at around 5:30 am.

The fire started at the sitting room of the family, and while asleep, they didn’t know the house was burning. The occupants were trapped inside due to the heavy locks on the exit doors.

The cause of the fire is yet unknown.
