Former Anambra Governor Describes PDP As “Corrupt Opposition”

Former Governor of Anambra State, Chief Chimwoke Mbadinuju has described the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the “corrupt opposition” and accused former administrations in the country of causing the myriad of problems now bedevilling the nation.

The All Progressives Congress chieftain made this known while speaking with journalists in Keffi on Friday, while giving his take on the recent launch of the Anti-Corruption Sensitization Campaign embarked upon by the Federal Government.

According to Mbadinuju, President Muhammadu Buhari “is cleaning the mess of previous administrations”.

Adding that, “It is clear that the president is not the cause of our political and economic problems but rather finding solutions of past and present problems we face.”

Furthermore, he noted that: “Former administrations brought the “cankerworm” and “caterpillar” of corruption, injustice, poor economy, cheating and looting. President Buhari has extended the loot recovery to former Yar’adua-Obasanjo era and this is extensive enough to curb graft and recover Nigeria’s stolen commonwealth.

“Corruption will die faster in Nigeria if we do away with avarice, inordinate ambition, political ostentation, greed, cheating and the likes.”
