Fraudster, H-Money Conducts $100m Fraud Deals While Serving Jail Term

Lagos Zonal Office of the  Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has discovered that Hope Olusegun Aroke aka H-Money, a convicted internet fraudster currently serving a 24 years jail term, is still in communication with other high valued targets that are currently being looked into by the Commission for various offences relating to computer fraud and money laundering.

The Investigation carried out by the commission revealed that the criminal orchestrated the internet scam which was worth over $100m while he was still in jail.

Justice Lateefa Okunnu of the Lagos State High Court, in 2016,  convicted and sentenced  Aroke, then a 25-year-old undergraduate of  Kuala Lumpur Metropolitan University, Malaysia, to 24 years imprisonment for his participation in an internet scam that fetched him N25m.
