One of the officers under the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, Francis, has gunned down two people after he allegedly became frustrated over the government’s refusal to pay salaries.

Francis who had been serving as one of the guards at the LADOL Free Zone in Lagos, suddenly became paranoia and began to shoot sporadically on Monday.

He ended up killing his colleague and another Korean expatriate who had been working in the premises.

According to reports, he first aimed at his colleagues, killed one of them before he turned to the foreigner and shot him as well.

Thankfully, others who were present at the scene were able to escape the attack after running for their lives.

Some of those who witnessed the shocking encounter narrated that the officer would not have stopped attacking others if he had not run out of bullets in his firearm.

Although the Korean National was rushed to the Lagoon Hospital in Ikoyi, he eventually gave up the ghost.

Hopefully, the suspect would be arraigned before a law court when the police round off investigations on the attack.
