Full List: Buhari Appoints Six Dead People To FG Boards

President Muhammadu Buhari is in the eyes of the storm for appointing dead people as heads or members of Boards of Federal Government agencies and parastatals.

The six dead people appointed by the president include: late Deputy Inspector General of Police, Donald Ugbaja, who died in November 2017. He was listed as one of the members of the board of the Consumer Protection Council.

Another dead appointee is Senator Francis Okpozo. Though he died in December 2016, his name was listed as the new chairman of the board of the Nigerian Press Council.

Yet another is founder of Fidei Polytechnic, Rev. Christopher Utov. He died in March 2017, but even death could not prevent him from being listed as a board member of the Nigeria Institute of Social and Economic Research.

Ahmed Bunza was buried on May 22, 2017, after giving up the ghost at the Usman Danfodio University Teaching Hospital, Sokoto. However, he got an appointment too.

Former Emir of Katagum, Bauchi State, Kabir Umar, died as recently as December 9, 2017, but was placed on the board of the Federal Medical Centre, Azare, Bauchi.

Alhaji Umar Dange, an APC leader in Sokoto State, who was appointed as a board member of the Federal Medical Centre, Ebute -Metta, Lagos.
