GITEX 2015: 84-Man Delegation To Represent Nigeria

Nigeria will be represented by an 84-man delegation at the 2015 Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) scheduled for the Dubai World Trade Centre, United Arab Emirates from October 18 to 22.

GITEX is an annual consumer computer and electronics trade show, exhibition and conference.

The Nigerian delegation, which cuts across public and private sectors, is expected to be led by the PERMANENT Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Communications, Dr. Tunji Olaopa.

Included on the list are: Director General of The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Mr. Peter Jack; the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Import Promotion Council; the Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria Export Promotion Council, among others.

Dr. Olaopa is expected to exclusively address participants at the Nigeria Day Forum on Tuesday at GITEX 2015.

The theme of the ongoing GITEX, which is in its 35th edition, is “The internet Future Of Everything”.
