The General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, says Nigerians irrespective of religion must endeavour to respond if God calls them to lead the country.
According to him, the country requires God-fearing leaders in these challenging times to steer its affairs.
Kumuyi spoke with reporters on Thursday after his arrival at the Port Harcourt International Airport.
The respected cleric is in Rivers State for the church’s programme tagged ‘Power for the Present Hour crusade.’
Asked if it was proper for Christians to participate in active politics, Kumuyi said, “Not just Christians, everyone called of God whether Christians or Muslims or whoever, as they are called of God, they should respond to the call of God, so that our country will move forward.”
