Gov. Bagudu urges Muslims to pray for Nigeria in Ramadan

Gov. Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi has pledged to tackle infrastructure challenges across all communities in the state.

Bagudu gave the assurance on Thursday when he inaugurated Koko township roads and  electrification project for Rafin Alhaji village in Koko-Besse Local Government area of the state.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the projects were inaugurated in the course of All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign tour of the area.

Bagudu said that the projects were meant to uplift the living conditions of the beneficiaries.

“Provision of motorable roads would boost social and economic base of the area, as well as enhance the transportation of agricultural products and other goods to markets,” he said.

The governor promised to provide more dividends of democracy, if re-elected.

He particularly pledged to extend electricity supply to communities outside Yauri, Zuru and Koko among others.

Bagudu urged the electorates in the state to vote for President Muhammadu Buhari and all APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections.

The APC state chairman, Alhaji Bala Kangiwa in his remarks, also urged the people to vote for Buhari and Bagudu, as well as other APC candidates, to continue with the laudable programmes they started.

He noted that the APC led administration at the federal and state levels has performed creditably well in the area of agriculture, education, power supply, infrastructure and other areas of development.(NAN)
