Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola has dismissed suggestions that he would consider coaching Real Madrid in the nearest future.

The former Barcelona manager, who won 14 trophies in four years at the Camp Nou, dropped the hint on Friday in Munich.

When he was asked about a potential move to the Spanish capital, he said while smiling:   “I wouldn’t fit in there. It wouldn’t work out.”

Guardiola’s future at the Allianz Arena has been a subject of constant speculation, causing a top Bayern Munich executive to issue a statement saying no one was “irreplaceable”.

He has been linked to many top European clubs, including Manchester City, Paris Saint Germain and Real Madrid.
