Guinness said on Wednesday it is recalling its non-alcoholic beer cans in Britain over fears the drink may be contaminated.
The brewer, which is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, has issued a statement saying it is recalling its Guinness 0.0 beers in Britain as the drink may contain microbiological contamination.
No other beers from the brewer’s range have been affected and Guinness is urging people to return their cans to where they bought them from for a full refund.

Describing the move as a “precautionary measure’’, a Guinness spokesperson said the recall had been “because of microbiological contamination which may make some cans of Guinness 0.0 unsafe to consume.
“If you have bought Guinness 0.0 do not consume it,’’ the spokesperson said and expressed the brewer’s regret over the incident.
The Guinness 0.0 brand, known as `Guinness zero’, was launched in October.
