Gunmen Kidnap Three Girls From School In Lagos

Three students of the Babington Macauley Junior Seminary (BMJS), Ikorodu, Lagos have been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.

The Nation reported that the gunmen, who were suspected to be dislodged pipeline vandals, raided the school premises located at Agunfoye-Lugbusi village at about 8:00pm on Monday, February 29, and took three girls away.

The armed men gained entry into the school premises from behind by breaking the fenced perimeter.

The Lagos State Police Commissioner, Fatai Owoseni, with a team of crack detectives visited the school premises after the incident and were reported to be present till about 4:00 am on Tuesday.

The Lagos State Command spokesperson, Dolapo Badmos, confirmed the kidnap of the three girls said: “Yea, three female students were taken away by some criminals on Monday night but investigations are on to track then.

“At this moment, we cannot give you more information but you will be briefed as event unfolds.”
