He'll sell Nigeria to himself as he did Lagos - Deji Adeyanju warns against Tinubu presidency

Convener, Concerned Nigerians, Deji Adeyanju says President Muhammadu Buhari is “10 million times better than” National Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

He stated this in a Facebook post while reacting to Tinubu’s declaration of his 2023 presidential ambition.

Shortly after a closed-door meeting with Buhari on Monday, the former Lagos governor told newsmen that he had informed the president of his intention to vie for the presidency.

He added that Buhari did not oppose his ambition, adding that he would officially declare his ambition to Nigerians after concluding consultations with stakeholders.

Since the declaration, Nigerians have been expressing divergent opinions.

Sharing a photo of bullion vans supposedly conveying cash into Tinubu’s residence on the eve of the general election in 2019, Adeyanju said, “Tinubu, the Bullion Vans merchant will sell Nigeria to himself like he has done with Lagos State.

“A man without any known source of income except politics with private jets & uncountable billions.

“May such a calamity never befall Nigeria. Buhari is 10 million times better than Tinubu. At least Buhari is not selling Nigeria to himself.”

In a follow-up post, Adeyanju stated, “Tinubu should be in jail, not running for President but this is Nigeria.”
