A well struck volley from Geoginio Wijnaldum crept through the waiting hands of Sheffield United’s number one, Dean Henderson was enough to seal the win for the visitors.

Sheffield United had a few chances of their own when Clarke puts his shot over the goal from the 18 yard box.

James Milner came on for Jordan Henderson and Alex Oxalade Chamberlain came off the bench with one minute to go.

At the end of 90+5 minutes it finished Sheffield United 0 – 1 Liverpool.
