Herdsmen have reportedly attacked and murdered Fatai Aborode, The Chief Executive Officer, Green Treasures Limited on Friday.
An eyewitness, Seyi, confirmed that the herdsmen used machetes to kill the victim.
He confirmed that the incident occurred at 4 pm close to the farm of the deceased near Apodun village, Oyo state.
According to the eyewitness, the victim died before getting to the hospital.
The big shot farmer and politician were accompanied by his manager on a motorbike when the terrorists struck.
The unnamed manager fled the scene of the incident without any injuries.
It will be recalled that Aborode once contested for the House of Representative under Accord party in 2015.
He contested for a slot in the Igangan, Ibarapa North West Local Council Development Authority.
The Oyo State Police is yet to react to the development as at the time of publishing this story.
