Davido has thanked fellow Nigerian singer and producer Tekno for working on his hit song, ‘IF’ which was certified Gold in South Africa.
Davido was ecstatic as he said that ‘IF’ changed his life.
‘IF’ was Davido’s most popular single from last year and it dominated the airwaves as everyone had it on wherever they were.
It was played at parties, clubs wedding ceremonies– everywhere.
It was followed up by equally successful singles like ‘Fall’ and ‘Fia’ which all led to what was a hugely successful year for Davido and his music.
Davido took to his Instagram to thank Tekno, posting a video and captioning it: Thank you @teknoofficial !

Davido also added that Duncan Mighty was a huge influence on him as he created ‘IF’
The songs have been massively successful in Nigeria and abroad as ‘If’ and ‘Fall’ were certified Diamond and Platinum in South Africa.
Davido took his Instagram then to announce the development stating: “‘IF’ Is officially Diamond and ‘FALL’ is officially Platinum in sales!!! My trophies’ finally came in as well! GOD IS REAL!! Thank you Guys for making this happen!! just gettin started!!! Bless to my team.”
