The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has said he could not wait to participate in the presidential debate to complete the good work started by his running mate, Peter Obi, at the vice presidential candidate on Friday night.
Majority of Nigerians hailed Obi’s performance, as well as that of Vice President Osinbajo, saying the former Anambra State Governor displayed a good grasp of issues bedevilling the nation and how to solve them.
Taking to his verified Twitter handle, Atiku also joined in heaping praise on Obi.
The Waziri of Adamawa said he watched Obi’s performance with “pride”, adding that he could not wait for the presidential debate scheduled for January 19, 2019.
He said, “I watched with pride as Peter Obi laid out our vision to get Nigeria working again. Can’t wait for the presidential debate. #2019Debate.”

The #2019Debate is being organised by the Nigeria Elections Debate Group (NEDG) in partnership with Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria (BON).
