Chinagoro, a.k.a African China used to be a household name in Nigeria a few years back.
Before the likes of Wiz Kid, Davido, Olamide even came to the scene, African China and his likes were already headlining events and singing to anchor a social revolution.
In a recent interview, Africna China disclosed that he didn’t make the kinf of money artistes make these days and he has no regrets.
He said “No, I did not collect the kind of money they are collecting now. But I think you should know something, we pushed the bill from 30 thousand naira to 8 hundred / one million. I made investments that can compete with whatever they do with their money. Therefore, I don’t regret not making what they are making these days.”
